Featherdrop is the musical laboratory of Thomas Munk-Petersen and Stig Halskov. These two jazz musicians, who have collaborated in numerous contexts over two decades, joined forces for this project in the fall of 2021 and are now releasing their first EP in the autumn of 2023. Featherdrop's music draws on the Nordic ECM sound as well as the American jazz tradition. It invites contemplation and deep reflection, catering to those who appreciate atmospheric instrumental jazz.
